Hekle sirkler

Heklede sirkler
Type masker: fm hst st dst
Lag en ring av: 4 lm 4 lm 6 lm 6 lm
1. omg. Hekle i ringen: 6 fm 8 hst 12 st 18 dst
Øk for hver følgende omg: 6 fm 8 hst 12 st 18 dst

Tilføyelse, 29. april:
NB!

Added 19. may, a very short and simple translation into english:

Crochet circles (US terminology)
Type of stitches: sc hdc dc tr
Chain:

slip stitch in first chain, to join into a ring:
4 4 6 6
1. rnd. Crochet in ring: 6 sc 8 hdc 12 dc 18 tr
Inc for next and all following rounds: 6 sc 8 hdc 12 dc 18 tr

Abbreviations:
Chain stitch (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Double crochet (dc)
Treble crochet (tr)
Round (rnd)
Increase (inc)

Preferably the circle should be round in shape. Therefore you must move the increases so they do not end up directly above the increase in the previous round. If not, you will end up with a hexagon, octagon, and so on... depending on the number increases in each round. But if you start each round with an increase and you make the increases evenly distributed, and because it is one more stitch between increases for each round ... then the shape of the circle will be nice and round.

  1. Snedig!

  2. Hello! I came over from Annepalandet when I was trying to read about her beautiful potholders. Now I have seen you made them also. They really are pretty. You have a chart on your page about how to increase cirlces. so you think it possible to translate it for me. Google just can't manage with crochet abbgreviations. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you and greetings from Germany.

  3. Claudia: I hope the translation makes sense. I have used this basic formula for sc, hdc and dc circles, and they all works fine for me. I still have to try out the tr circle, I suppose it works good, just as the other three ;o) Good luck!

  4. Hello - I don't even know how to address you. Hello dear Wenche? It is so kind of you to have translated the chart for me. Thanks awfully! I will save it for when I start on my next work. I just adore circles in any way! So thank you once again for doing me this favour. Wishing you a happy day - greetings from Germany!
